Tip #2

Spread glue + joy For press-ons that won’t budge, you’ll want to ensure every surface of your natural nail, and the back of the press-on nail, get coated in a thin layer of glue. Create a dot of glue in the center of the press-on nail, and use the tip of the glue to spread the glue around the nail. BONUS: For an even more controlled application, we love to use Brush On Nail Glue. It applies just like polish and helps to ensure even and complete glue coverage of your natural nail and press-ons.

Cute cuticles Since you’ve pushed back your cuticles beautifully during the prep step, you should have a very clean line where the base of your natural nail and your cuticles meet. When sliding on your press-on, don’t worry or be intimidated. Because you’ve prepped, you’ve created the ideal space for the press-on nail to slide just under the cuticle line. Not only will this give you the cleanest, most-salon perfect look, it will help make your press-on mani look fresh for longer because the growth won’t be super visible.

Details matter Once you’ve applied your press-ons perfectly, keep your cuticles hydrated so your mani looks salon-fresh for up to 2 weeks. Apply Cuticle Serum 2-3 times a day to avoid hangnails, dry skin and to give your hands a nourished, healthy glow. Press-ons can be shaped just like natural nails, so you can adjust the shape and length using a clipper or nail file to achieve your dream look. Just remember to go slowly to avoid taking off too much length. These personal touches can help elevate your mani to an even more perfect look.
